Individual Challenge - Activity: Complete one activity. Record your results. Write about what
*Pick a habitat (Rain forest, arctic, wetland, desert, ocean, grassland). Draw or create the habitat
(shoe box, paper, poster). Draw or place animals that live within that habitat.
*Pick an animal. Describe how that animal lives in a different way within a zoo versus its natural habitat.
*Sort animals by what they eat. Herbivore, carnivore, omnivore.
*Sort animals by their texture (scales, furry, smooth, rough, prickly, hard)
*Camouflaged animals: List five animals that camouflage within their environment. Why do they hide?
*Animal tracks: Pick five animals. Draw each animal's footprint or track. Which animal has the longest track? Which animal has the smallest track?
*Pets: If you have a pet at home, keep track of what your pets wants and needs for one week.
Individual Challenge - Research: Answer one question within your grade level.
3rd-5th grade students are expected to use complete sentences and/or detailed paragraphs.

continent on Earth where Giraffes live in the wild? What food makes up nearly all (around 99%)
of a Giant Panda’s diet?
