Individual Challenge - Activity: Complete one activity. Record your results. Write about what
*Complete the Toys in Space experiment. Turn in the worksheet.
*Keep track of the lunar phases for one month. Record your findings.
*Complete “Survival on the Moon” worksheet.
*Build and test one of the following: Rover, rocket, or parachute.
*Construct a model habitat that astronauts could work, rest, play, and maintain a greenhouse on Mars.
*Name five things we have learned about Mars from Curiosity.

3rd-5th grade students are expected to use complete sentences and/or detailed paragraphs.
Pre-K & K: Visit www.isstracker.com to see where the International Space Station is.
1st - 2nd: Visit: http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/mission/whereistherovernow/ How many days has Curiosity been on Mars? Look at the current map and name one point that Curiosity has visited.
3rd - 5th: Calculate your weight on the following planets (Earth, Moon, Mars,
Saturn, and Neptune)
