badge. You will be recognized on June 5, 2015 at the End of Grade Awards Ceremony.
Individual Challenge - Activity: Complete one activity. Record your results. Write about what
*Pick a packet of seeds or a bulb. Plant them in a container that you keep inside.
Water it everyday. Keep a journal of when you see the flower/vegetable/fruit start to
sprout and grow. Draw and record your results for two weeks.

Individual Challenge - Research: Answer one question within your grade level.
3rd-5th grade students are expected to use complete sentences and/or detailed paragraphs.
Pre-K & K: Draw a picture of a flower. Label the parts of the flower (roots, stem, leaf, and
flower). What does a flower need so that it will grow?
1st & 2nd: Draw the life cycle of a plant or write the steps to follow in planting a flower.
3rd - 5th: When is the best time to plant vegetables? Pick a flower that blooms in the spring,
summer, fall, and winter.
