badge. You will be recognized on June 5, 2015 at the End of Grade Awards Ceremony.
Individual Challenge - Activity: Complete one activity. Record your results. Write about what
*Dinosaur detective: Measure the bones of your dinosaur. Put the bones together to make your
dinosaur. Look at the chart to see what dinosaur you have.
*Make a fossil: (You may use Playdoh.) You may make pretend dinosaur tracks. You may also
use items in nature such as leaves, etc. Turn in measurements of the five fossil imprints.
*Herbivore vs. Carnivore: Compare two dinosaurs and fill out a Venn diagram. Example: (eats
meat vs. Eats plants; flat teeth vs. Sharp teeth; walks on four feet vs. Two feet). For the both
category, they are both dinosaurs, are extinct, hatched from eggs, lived a long time ago.
Individual Challenge - Research: Answer one question within your grade level.
3rd-5th grade students are expected to use complete sentences and/or detailed paragraphs.
Pre-K & K: Pick five different dinosaurs. Put them in order from shortest to tallest or lightest to
1st & 2nd: Draw and name five dinosaurs that flew.
3rd - 5th: Within the past five years, name a location where scientists have found dinosaur
remains or fossils. What dinosaur do scientists believe they found evidence of?
