The North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, NC is a great place for your family to visit. Art is an element in STEM. Art is about creativity, problem solving, teamwork, design, etc. You can take a walk outside to see all of the sculptures. Look at what went involved in the design process.
You can go inside to see all of the paintings, sculptures, pottery, etc. Look at how art preserves and reflects history. Look at how artists created their work with what was available at the time they worked. Artists didn't have technology a long time ago. So much of their work was created by hand and took a great deal of time.
