There seems to be a constant struggle with how much technology time kids should use a day. We want our kids to play outside and read books. Yet they need the balance when it comes to technology.
Here are some ideas:
*Make them earn technology time by completing chores or reading books. You can even set up a password for your computer or tablet. To get the password, they need to complete their to do list.
*Use a token system to keep track of time. If it's hard to get kids off of technology, you can set your technology to lock or turn off after a certain amount of time.
*Keep technology in open spaces so that you know what your kids are doing. Give them positive feedback as they complete levels on educational games.
