Math and music are a great combination. Kids love to sing and play music. They can also visually see math concepts such as adding, counting, or subtracting. There are many great programs that combine music and math such as Sesame Street. Here are some examples of videos that help reinforce learning at home:
Sometimes when you figure out how things are built you also learn about how they work. Invention playhouse is a great resource for kids to use problem solving, exploration, and visual thinking.
Challenge 1: How many ways can you help a ball reach its goal?
Challenge 2: Create your own shaped cloud.
Challenge 3: Solve a puzzle block designed boat, man, or bird.
